A southbound day combines these stops with a return through the crest road or via Eguisheim. Recommended for returning visitors or anyone avoiding the summer crowds.
Two days from Colmar: the entire heart of the vineyard
Day one: the golden triangle (Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauville) with an overnight in Colmar. Day two: head north to Bergheim, Haut-Koenigsbourg and Dambach-la-Ville, or south to Rouffach, Guebwiller and Thann. Staying two nights in the same place keeps logistics simple: no luggage to move, and Colmar restaurants and covered market in the evening.
Access: TGV station, hotels and private chauffeur
Colmar station is connected to Paris in 2 hr 30 min by direct TGV and to Strasbourg in 30 minutes by TER.
