Tastings, meals and entrance fees are paid directly on site. Want commentary in the villages? Add a professional tour guide for the whole day when you book, in addition to your driver.

Frequently asked questions about our wine tours
How long does a standard tour last?
Four hours for a half-day with 1 to 2 villages and 1 winery. Six hours for a short day with 3 villages and 2 wineries. Eight hours for a full day with 4 to 5 villages and 2 to 3 wineries. The duration adapts to your actual pace.
Where do the tours depart from?
Your choice: your hotel in Strasbourg or Colmar, Strasbourg airport (Entzheim), Strasbourg TGV train station, Colmar station, or any accommodation on the Wine Route. The pickup point affects the final price through the kilometer package.
Can the itinerary be changed on the day?
Yes, this is the main advantage of a private chauffeur. Add a spontaneous winery visit, extend lunch, change a village if the weather turns, finish early if you are tired: the driver adapts the program in real time.
Are lunch and tastings included?
No. Meals and tastings at wineries are paid directly on site. The driver knows the winstubs, starred restaurants and reference wineries, and suggests addresses matched to your tastes and budget.
How far in advance should I book?
Minimum lead time is twelve hours before departure. In peak season (April to October, Christmas markets from late November to late December), two to three weeks of notice are recommended to secure your date and chosen vehicle.
Can we stop for restrooms, coffee or photos?
Yes. The itinerary is yours: restroom, coffee and photo stops fit within the hours you booked, and your driver points out the best viewpoints along the way.
What if my cruise ship or train runs late?
Give us your train number or flight when you book: your driver follows it and adjusts the pickup at no charge. For a river cruise, tell us the dock and the time you must be back on board, and the day is planned around it. Waiting time is free for 60 minutes for a flight and 30 minutes for a train, then the hourly rate applies. If your flight or train is canceled by the carrier and you gave us its number when you booked, we move your booking to another date at no charge, subject to availability.
Does the driver speak English?
Yes. French and English as standard, German and Spanish on request at no extra charge. Tell us your preferred language when you book.
