Strasbourg is the natural gateway to the Alsace Wine Route. Marlenheim, where the route officially begins, is 25 minutes from the city centre, Obernai 30 minutes, and a full day lets you travel down to Riquewihr and Colmar through the vineyard.

The Wine Route begins in Marlenheim, 25 minutes from Strasbourg. Starting from the Alsatian capital lets you follow the route in the right direction: the Couronne d'Or vineyards, Obernai, Barr, then the main sights of the central vineyard depending on your chosen duration.
The easiest access by train and plane
TGV station 1h46 from Paris, Strasbourg-Entzheim airport 15 minutes from the centre: Strasbourg concentrates the arrivals. Your driver meets you off the train or plane and your day in the vineyard starts immediately.
